I initially looked at this opportunity to earn a couple of hundred pounds a month and top up my teaching income. However, the more I learned about what was on offer, the more disgruntled I became with teaching – I loved the kids but felt trapped and stifled by all of the bureaucracy. So I began to build a business very part time around my job and two children, and opened my mind to learning things that were completly new to me. The result? I now enjoy working a flexible business from home, and have left the stress of teaching behind.
We were both Directors of household-name companies in the textile industry, highly paid, stressed and lacking quality of life.
